This is used to calculate the cost of your Portrait, as the more subjects, then the more complexity for the Artist. It is quite easy to determine, but occasionally there is a question about how to calculate for certain photographs. Some examples:

1. Mom and Dad with 2 dogs, would be 4 subjects.
   
   
2. An exotic car with the Owner prominently in front of the car, would be 2 subjects (the car and the owner).
   
   
3. A family of 4 in front of their home, where the home is the background, would be 4. The home is the background and does not count as a subject in this example.

Simply use your best judgment, as 99% of all photos are clear.
