Museum Wrapping - Stretching

Museum Wrapping refers to how the canvas is stretched, before it is framed. We choose to use 3/4" stretcher bars, and Museum Wrap all Portraits. We have the Artist carry the background color around the edge of the canvas, and then staple the canvas to the back of the stretcher bars.. What this allows, is that on some of the less formal Portraits, you may not need to frame them. After thorough inspection, all Museum wrapping (stretching), is done in our Studio in Tennessee.
